[Mermaid No.012] — Fallen Leaves
This is a unique species of mermaids whose tails change color with the seasons. They live in freshwater lakes, where their tails appear green and leafy during spring and summer. But when autumn arrives, each tail transforms into the warm, vivid hues of fallen leaves. They often swim together in groups, and from afar, they look just like clusters of leaves drifting across the lake’s surface. When winter comes, they disappear into hiding and go into hibernation.
For this design, I created a mermaid tail made of autumn leaves just for you!
The tail truly looks as if it was stitched together from real fallen leaves — the effect is incredibly lifelike! When worn, it feels as though the leaves have come to life, turning you into a true autumn spirit. The top is crafted from two leaves joined together, giving it a deep connection to nature. We used sheer mesh for the straps, so once underwater they become almost invisible.
The basic set includes the top and reinforced side and back fins. An upgraded version with a tail vinyl is also available. While this tail is not designed for the best swimming performance, it is absolutely stunning for photography — it shows up vividly and beautifully in the water!
This mermaid tail does not include a MONOFIN. If you wish to customize the skin color, please send us an email.
This model comes in two options: with vinyl and without vinyl. The vinyl-supported fluke at the bottom will be stiffer and maintain its shape better, though the shipping package will be significantly larger.
We use custom-made fabric with features such as high elasticity, softness, close-fitting, excellent wrapping, and lightness.
This mermaid tail can be paired with the MAHINA monofin or the monofins available for purchase on our website.
